How to Donate
Follow these steps to prepare and send your compression garments — it only takes a few minutes
Check your garments are suitable
Before you pack anything, please check:
✅ The garment has its brand and size label attached — this is essential; we cannot accept items without it
✅ It is ready-made or made-to-order (standard sizes like S, M, L, XL or Roman numerals I, II, III, IV)
✅ It is in good condition — no holes, ladders, broken elastic, or structural damage
✅ You are posting from the UK - we can only cover free UK postage currently
❌ Please don’t send Made-to-Measure garments (these will usually have your name on the care label) — we can't accommodate custom sizing at this stage
Not sure if your garment is suitable? Check our Label & Rejection Guide, or get in touch: compressionsupport@acsclothing.co.uk
Prepare your parcel
-
You can include multiple garments in one parcel
-
Include any original tags, inserts or packaging you still have — these are helpful but not essential

Ready to make your donation?
Donation postage is free — we cover the cost using Royal Mail.
-
Click "Start your donation" below. It takes you to the Royal Mail Return Portal.
-
Where it asks for an order number and order email, simply enter your name and email address, then add your postcode so the portal can find your closest drop-off point.
-
Generate your QR code. You will receive an email, too, and take it, along with your packaged garments, to the drop-off location shown.
-
Your parcel will then be sent to ACS Clothing for cleaning and sanitation.
You may see a message asking you to use the original packaging. Please don't worry if you no longer have it — this is a standard message for returns and doesn't apply to your donation. Simply place your clean compression garments in any secure bag or suitable packaging before dropping them off.

What happens next
Once we receive your donation:
Timeline | What happens |
|---|---|
Within 1–2 weeks | Your garment is triaged and inspected |
If accepted | It is professionally laundered and ozone-sanitised by ACS Clothing |
Once cleaned | It is photographed, graded, and listed in the Reuse Shop |
Once sold | It goes to someone with lipoedema who needs it |
Garments that don't pass triage cannot be resold. We'll do our best to minimise waste, but items with damage or missing labels will need to be disposed of responsibly.
