After the heady days of summer, I thought it was time  remind you to detox your lymphatic system ,though we probably should be doing it a bit more often than once a year .  Why? Because your body needs to be able to get rid of toxins with foods which contain high levels of nutrients, these nutrients assist in moving toxins out of the body, as well as keeping your body healthy and functioning properly.

A bit of chocolate cake or ice-cream that you scoffed on those days by the pool or on the beach do not fall under this category, sadly.  Vegetables juices do, I have given you three to get started but once you get the bug you can make your own mixes up.

 Fruit Herbs and Vegetables that are known to cleanse your lymph are

·         Kale

·         Chard

·         Spinach

·         Avocado

·         Beetroot

·         Ginger

·         Lemon and Lime

·         Parsley and Coriander

Tips on preparing juices

Try and buy fresh organic vegetables, Wash all vegetables and fruits before making the juice, peel all rind of lemons and limes, to juice small leaves, roll them up into a ball to compact leaves. Once made you can store any excess covered in the Fridge use within one day.

My personal favourite is the Lymphatic Zing , the Lymphatic cleanse certainly does what it says on the tin you may find yourself visiting the toilet a bit more often than usual .
